Writing & Directing

Together with creative partner Dara Katz (Cool Right Productions), we’ve written, directed and acted in our own sketches, including the absurdist parody series, The Place We Live, acquired by IFC Comedy Cribs. Our first film, Amazing Bagel, won the audience choice award at the 2018 Nitehawk Shorts Festival and was a selection at the 2019 Maryland Film Festival and Calgary International Film Festival. Our second film, Tapes was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival, Palm Springs Shorts Festival and many more.

Maddie's discovery of a 30-year-old recording leads to an awkward family dinner and an unexpected revelation about her mother, played by Maryann Plunkett (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Little Women).

When Devin, a single, 30-year-old woman learns—unbeknownst to her—she's had a miscarriage, like everything else in her life, she's not sure how to feel about it.
